Taiping Bird Week 2026 — 17–18 October Dates Confirmed, Programme Still Pending
Taiping Bird Week 26 is listed in Tourism Malaysia's 2026 Calendar of Events for 17–18 October 2026 in Taiping, Perak, with Tourism Perak named as organiser. That much is useful and defensible. What is not yet safe to assume is the exact 2026 venue, daily hours, admission, registration or activity programme. We have not found a current detailed organiser page confirming those items, so visitors should treat this as a date notice rather than a complete programme.
What is confirmed for 2026
- Event — Taiping Bird Week 26.
- Dates — Saturday and Sunday, 17–18 October 2026.
- Location — Taiping, Perak.
- Organiser listed by Tourism Malaysia — Tourism Perak.
Do not copy last year's programme into 2026
Tourism Perak's official 2025 listing placed that edition at Zoo Taiping & Night Safari and promoted activities including a Bird Race, Photo Run and Hornbill Fun Walk. Those details are useful context because they show what Bird Week has looked like before, but they are not confirmation for 2026. Until Tourism Perak publishes the current programme, this page will not claim that the same venue or activities are returning.
What visitors can do now
If you are already considering a Taiping weekend in mid-October, the confirmed dates are enough to keep 17–18 October in view. They are not enough to plan around a particular walk, race, talk, ticket or venue. Check Tourism Perak again before travelling for Bird Week specifically. A Taiping stay can still be combined with the Lake Gardens, the zoo area and the old town, but those are general Taiping attractions rather than a claim about the 2026 Bird Week programme.
A direct advance enquiry is non-binding and does not reserve, hold or guarantee a room or date until Sojourn checks availability and confirms it.
