Perak Stay & Explore 2026: RM40 Tourism Incentive and 15 November Application Deadline

霹靂 Stay & Explore 2026：RM40旅游奖励，11月15日业者申请截止

Perak is inviting the tourism industry to build longer trips. Its Stay & Explore 2026 initiative sets aside 2,000 incentives worth RM40 per person for qualifying programmes involving at least two days and one night in the state. Applications by eligible organisations close on 15 November 2026. Crucially, this is not a blanket RM40 rebate that any hotel guest can claim at check-in.

霹靂州推出 Perak Stay & Explore 2026，希望游客不只匆匆路过，而是在州内住上一晚、走得更远。官方公布2,000份每人RM40的旅游奖励，适用于符合条件的至少两天一夜活動，合资格业者申请截止日期为2026年11月15日。需要特别说清楚，这不是所有旅客入住酒店便可自动领取的RM40现金回扣。

What the official announcement actually says

Tourism Perak’s announcement of 30 August states that applications are open to travel agencies, hotel and accommodation operators, tourism-product operators and tourism-related NGOs. Proposed components may cover lodging, transport, meals, attractions, cultural performances or relevant organised activities, subject to assessment and approval. The fund has limited capacity, so a qualifying itinerary does not automatically secure an incentive.

霹靂旅游局8月30日公告列明，申请对象包括旅行社、酒店与住宿业者、旅游产品经营者，以及旅游相关非政府组织。可申请的活動项目可能涉及住宿、交通、餐食、景点参观、文化演出及相关活動，但须经审查批准。名额与资金有限，即使行程包含两天一夜，也不代表必然获批。

What Taiping visitors should do

If you are planning a stay in Taiping, ask the relevant participating operator whether an approved programme exists, what is included and whether places remain. The official information we reviewed does not establish that every accommodation, including Sojourn, participates or can deduct RM40 from a room bill. Do not budget on that assumption. The 15 November date is an industry application deadline, not proof that a guest can redeem a voucher until that day.

如果打算来太平住宿，应直接向有关参与业者查询是否已有获批配套、包括哪些服务、还有没有名额。现有官方资料并没有证明每间旅宿（包括晓客栈）都参与计划，也没有证明房费可以直接扣RM40。安排预算时不要先把这笔钱当成折扣。11月15日是业者申请截止，不等于游客可在当天之前随时兑换。

A practical two-day Taiping itinerary

For a simple two-day visit, use the first day for Taiping’s old-town streets, local food and a visit to Taiping Lake Gardens; leave the next day for a museum visit or a longer trip towards Kuala Sepetang and its mangrove landscape. Check venue access, opening arrangements, weather and transport before setting out. These are independent visitor suggestions, not an official scheme package or a claim that any site accepts the incentive.

两天一夜在太平其实不难安排。第一天逛老城街道、寻找在地小吃，再到太平湖滨公园走走；第二天可考虑博物馆，或往十八丁方向看看红树林与渔村风景。出发前仍须核对景点开放、天气与交通。这是普通旅游建议，并非州政府核准的奖励配套，也不代表所提地点参与计划。

For travel businesses: check the application rules

Operators considering an application should follow Tourism Perak’s published guidance rather than treating this article as an application form. Confirm the current eligibility conditions, required supporting documents, whether an activity has received approval, and the 15 November deadline directly with Tourism Perak. An October 9 report by Ipoh Echo reiterated the same incentive size and closing date; it did not establish automatic guest eligibility.

有意申请的业者应以霹靂旅游局正式指南为准，不可把本文当作申请表。申请资格、证明文件、活動批准状态及11月15日截止时间，均应向当局确认。《Ipoh Echo》10月9日的后续报道再次提到奖励金额与截止日期，但没有说普通住客可以自行申请或自动获得RM40。
