Who is playing, and why this is different
Taiping Living names Tay Cher Siang on piano, AJ Pop Shuvit on bass and Aubrey Chong on drums. The programme describes energetic instrumental jazz and fresh arrangements of familiar local tunes. It also gives young performers from JR Academy a short opening platform before the main act. That is a rather more local reason to visit than another generic shopping promotion.

Planning a Taiping weekend around the concert
Flemington Hotel sits beside the Lake Gardens area, making this a natural evening addition to a Taiping old-town or lake visit. Arrive ahead of the programme, confirm venue entry and parking arrangements with the organiser, and do not assume a concert ticket includes a room. Visitors making a longer trip could explore the heritage streets and Taiping Lake Gardens separately from the ticketed show.
Flemington Hotel 位于太平湖滨公园一带，白天先逛老街或湖边，晚上再去听爵士，行程颇为顺路。建议提早到场，向主办方核实入场和停车安排；演出门票不等于住宿预订，也不包括任何酒店房间。如果安排两天一夜，还可以把太平古城街道和湖滨公园分开慢慢逛，不必把所有景点挤进一个下午。
